2009 Grain ChargesMoisture$.04 drying charge per point of moisture removed prorated to the 1/10th: Grain placed in open storage 14.0% maximum moisture, grain bank 15.0% maximum moisture. Grain sold or placed on credit sale contract 15.0% moisture maximum. Moisture will be averaged daily. Additional drying charges may apply without notice.
1.40 shrink (1.18 for drying + .22 handling) per point of moisture removed All grain will be dried and shrunk to the proper moisture levels. Grain Bank$.03 per bushel grain bank “IN” charge $.03 per bushel per month storage charge which begins after 60 days for grain bank Open Account15 days grace, $.0015 per bushel per day 10-01-09 through 1-31-10, $.001 per bushel per day thereafter. No Minimum Charge Bushels delivered will be applied to a contract if contract is available. Other wise bushels will be placed on hold for 15 days from the day of delivery. After 15 days grain will be placed on storage and daily storage rates apply. Storage charges will accumulate from the first delivery date. Test Weight$ .02 per point below 54-pound test weight. Under 50 pound subject to rejection. Damage: Damaged, musty or sour corn will be subject to rejection. F.M. F.M. Discounts as follows: $.02/point above 3%. F.M. above 10% subject to rejection. Price Later ChargesMinimum Price later charge $.18 for the first 120 days then $.02 per month thereafter. Price later contracts will be priced on or before 7-31-10. Price later bushels can only be sold against nearby/spot bids Energy Premiums In an effort to standardize the Digestible Energy Program and to more accurately determine the energy content of the 2009 corn crop, the digestible energy value will be determined at the conclusion of the 2009 harvest. All new corn arriving at DFS will be sampled and analyzed to determine the energy value of the corn crop. Once the energy value is established, DFS will back pay the premium ($.04), on all corn that meets the new threshold. This energy value will be the standard for the entire 2009 corn crop. Soybeans: FM discount - > than 1.0% is deducted from gross bushels. Moisture – 1.5% of price for each ½ a point above 13% moisture. Each load will stand alone. No moisture averaging. DFS’s Grain Inspection PolicyDFS reserves the right to inspect any load of grain that is coming into the facility. A DFS employee will take and inspect the sample taken from a load of grain. The grain will be inspected for quality, which includes mold, smell, damage kernels, foreign material and any other discount items. The sample will also be tested for moisture so the employee knows where to send the load of grain. Discounts may change without notice.
